Seed Order 2

TOTAL COST £9.56 incl postage			This is the second seed order I put in. These are intended to grow in pots in my own garden, but there will be some left over for Wayne and Libby. All seeds are from: Premier Seeds Direct
			Pea - Petit Pois - Waverex 300 seeds. Prolific Petit Pois variety producing an abundance of small, very sweet and tender Peas on medium sized plants (45cm). Delicious and excellent for freezing.
			Lettuce - Heirloom Romaine - Freckles 1000 seeds. This European heirloom Romaine produces open leafed heads with glossy green semi-Savoy leaves splashed with maroon splotches. Very slow to bolt, highly productive with a slightly nutty taste, brings unique colour and flavour to any salad.
			Pea Mangetout Snow Pea - Oregon Sugar Pod 300 seeds. A superb 'Mangetout' / Sugar Pea / Snow Pea with 4” long slightly curved fleshy pods on extremely hardy 3 foot vines which are high yielders and hold their colour well. Excellent flavour and ideal for lightly steaming or stir-fries. This pea variety is extremely disease resistant and high in Vitamins A, B and C. Crops in 68 Days.
			Tomato Gartenperle - Tumbling - Heirloom 100 seeds. Easily one of the best tumbling varieties to grow in hanging baskets, window boxes or tubs. An old German heirloom variety, hence its reliability in cooler summers, producing cascades of sweet cherry sized fruits over a long cropping season. It is easy to grow and needs no support, stopping or sideshooting. Will thrive outdoors in most areas. Bush (Determinate). 100 days.
			Yellow Swiss Chard - Canary 125 seeds. A stunning and vigorous Chard variety producing brilliant yellow stems with flavourful deep green leaves of 20” tall, delicious picked in the baby stage for salads or steamed when mature. Good enough for borders or the allotment alike. Easy to cultivate. Germination 7-14 days. 55 days to harvest.
			Okra - Burgundy 100 seeds. An unusual, attractive and prolific strain, producing 6-7 inch, burgundy red pods on 4ft plants with dark green and red tinged leaves with burgundy stems. Best when 2 1/2-3 in. long, turning green when cooked. Fine quality and prolific. First harvest around 60 days after seed is sown.
			Dwarf Runner Bean - Hestia 30 seeds.The dwarf variety of choice, bearing early heavy crops of string-less, high quality beans of excellent flavour. Ideal for the smaller plot or equally productive and attractive pot grown as long as kept well watered. Particularly suitable for exposed gardens or patio containers. Height approximately 45-60cm (18-24").
			Sweet Pea - Royal Family Mix 60 seeds. A popular and reliable variety producing an abundance of beautiful and long lasting highly-fragrant flowers across a wide range of bright colour shades. Great in the garden or for ideal cutting in bunches. Blooms over an extended season
			Miniature Carrot - Little Finger 2000 seeds. Little Finger Carrots are quick maturing, extremely sweet, gourmet miniature carrots with 4in cylindrical blunt tipped roots with very little core. Easy and quick to grow and can be planted densely, ideal for smaller spaces.
